Z71 and HID fogs

Ok so I have done a lot of research and all I found its about regular round fogs. I am concerned about melting of the fogs in the z71. Has anyone done the 35w HID in the z71? I'm not even sure if it's the same 5202 bulb.

I have a 3000k 35w HID kit in my fogs. 880/881 bulb for the nbs, but absolutely no issues at all with over heating.

Me too... I have 3K fogs as well.... works great, no issues.

i have 35w 5k in the fogs and headlights..no problem at all

The z71 has different fog light though then any of the other nnbs. That's why I'm asking

It shouldnt melt. If it did then just use glass instead of plastic and seal it back up

Ive got 8000k 35w hids in the lo, high, and fogs without any issues. Also running the 6high mod (not pictured)

The z71 Tahoe fogs are same as silver ado fog housing and you can run 35watts no prob. Only issues are with the round ones
