z71 tahoe vs tahoe ls

Had a question for you guys. I bought what I thought was a 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71 from an individual off Craigslist. It has the 4x4, emblems , painted grill and bumpers and even has the black matte fender guards . but when I took it to get insured and gave them the Vin# it didn't come up as a Z71 but rather a Chevy Tahoe K1500 . Is it the same thing???? I really wanted the Z71 and hope I didn't just get a regular Tahoe made up to look like a Z71. Can someone help ?

Look in the glove box at the RPO code sticker and see if it has a Z71 code.

Also on a Z71, the fender flares should be color matched.
