Has anyone received an OTA update in 2024?
I haven’t seen any OTA updates in my ‘21 for probably close to a year. Sadly some of those radio versions need to be done by the dealer. I know there’s an updated one for my ‘21 but if they don’t push it OTA I probably won’t get it. Sadly in my case, I don’t have the Google built in...- Micahsd

Bridgestone tires. good or bad? My experience.
My ‘21 Tahoe had the Bridgestone 22” tires…they were garbage. Just driving around in drive pavement they’d chip or skip a little. Also had one of them get cut within 500 miles so the dealer replaced it for free under goodwill and another one had a nail in the sidewalk at about 10k miles. I... -

USB PORTS
Could be a size limitation (if you’re using a 2TB flash drive maybe try something smaller such as a 256 GB). It probably can only play certain types of media formats such as .mp3 or .m4a. CarPlay no longer connecting
Make sure you didn’t turn off WiFi in your car. If you disable the WiFi from broadcasting that turns off WiFi entirely which is what CarPlay uses. If you don’t subscribe to WiFi data/hotspot in the car make sure you turn off the option to share data related to the hotspot under the settings...- Micahsd

40,000 Mile Report
Vehicle mfg date is March 29, 2021 but the Julian build date on the engine is Feb 11, 2021 which is right in that window of known bad lifters. Here’s the hilarious part…while it was in the shop GM updated the TSB stating to replace all lifters if under 16k miles and it falls within the bad...- Micahsd

CarPlay no longer connecting
Maybe try removing your vehicle from under Settings - General - CarPlay on your phone and also remove it from under the paired devices area on your vehicle. Then go back through the pairing process. I’ve had to do that a few times when it acted up. Hasn’t happened to me though for awhile...- Micahsd

40,000 Mile Report
Nice report. My ‘21 Tahoe had the lifter issue at 9,100 miles but they only replaced half of the lifters or the affected bank/side. I keep thinking the other side will go bad soon but so far I’m at 28k miles and 3 years old and no issues at all. In fact if it wasn’t for the lifter issue...- Micahsd

Do you use your rear-view mirror in camera-mode?
That is a very good point. It works great when the back window is covered in dust or snow. Somehow during snow driving the camera stays fairly clean and the rear wiper washer will squirt windshield cleaner on the camera to clean it. -
Can you turn off Auto Shutdown (eco mode)
I just hit the button every time I get in. Yeah it sucks, but I've had my 2021 now for about 3 years and are very used to it to the point where you can see the button has some wear to it.- Micahsd

I've become pretty used to having the camera mode on. It's also nice when people are in the back as instead of seeing their heads in my vision I can actually see behind the vehicle. whenever I get another vehicle I think I'll make sure it has the video mirror. The downside of the mirror... -

I'm not sure on that nav error. That's a bit odd. Could try re-seating the SD card which is located next to the USB ports below the screen. Unfortunately there's no way to update the maps without buying an updated SD card. I've been just ignoring the incorrect speed limits for a few roads... -

AC evaporator calls it quits at 32K miles?
I'd say that's not normal. I'd see if they can do some customer appreciation thing though GM to avoid paying for the full cost.
