What year Escalade are we talking about? Assuming it’s 11-14 as earlier trucks front seats are heated / cooled by fans with warmed air from the Thermoelectric (Peltier) device.- petethepug

High pitched scraping while driving
If this is your first big GM truck that would be the brake pad wear indicators. Referring to the other set of brakes you haven’t changed yet. GM’s design is a little different but this illustration better explains what may be going on.- petethepug

You are not the only one. The supposed fix using resistors to shut down DTC and hide them could almost have enuf content to start its own forum. Meanwhile, the great guys selling all the fix it, bypass your suspension kits are banking off your hard earned bucks vs fixing it once with guaranteed...- petethepug

Is it possible to keep truck too long?
With 60, 80, 100, $150k automobiles that were previously 40-$60k, the day of the RestoMod is center stage. You’ve really gotta ask yourself, $150k on a Escalade V or $100k on a 600hp Gen IV or V 6.6L DuraMax + Allison Burb or Esky or YXL.- petethepug

If they were inexpensive it’s time to replace it. Unfortunately you’ll have to buy the set (again). Moisture has probably contaminated the ICB that controls the brake light portion- petethepug

Which brand of struts do you recommend for 2015 Yukon with Magneride?
Unfortunately options for 15-20 MagRide struts do not have any options. Arnott was the other go to but they dropped their lifetime warranty. No need to replace the springs yet. Get the MagRide strut inserts and have a shop install them or bring them to a shop with the entire strut assembly and...- petethepug

Aluminum / XFE NNBS Front Suspension Rebuild
One down, two to go. The Esky goes in next for its aluminum suspension. The s10 got its conversion with the rear discs supplied by the rears from an ‘82 Caddy Seville. Thinking about buying a used 13' Cadillac
Clear coat exploding means walk. Dealt w/ that on our 08 YXL Denali. Black paint was super thin. $750 to repaint the hood, $1.2k to repaint & blend the roof 1/3 of the way down. The cure was selling the 08 and buying an 09 for $1.2k more with GM tricoat paint. 4 years later, no regrets.- petethepug
