2002 Yukon XL SLE, 2WD, 5.3L:
My pinion seal is starting to drip, i went to order another one and they asked "which ring gear do you have" ....i have no clue, i thought the common ring gear was the 8.6, but they said their was a couple others. My "G" number codes in my glove box are G65 and G80... which seems to tell me is 3.73 posi/ltd slip, but i dont know how that translates in to which ring gear i have in terms or 8.6", etc..
Any ideas? I assume its the 8.6, but wanted some help from the people here. I will attach my glove box RPO code sticker.
