Serious question. Was hunting and occasional clunk in the front end and I think I found it. Bushing at the top def needs replace but idk about the rest. *edited for wrong pic. *
Sway bar end link bushings. It’s the rotten bushings for the bar that causes the clunk. Use poly vs the OE rubber. Lasts longer, performs better and more resistant to all the petrol & internal engine fluids that eat rubber.
Completed swap finally. Super easy job and cheap parts. Genuinely amazing the difference in the handling. No more body trying to pitch/ rollover itself out of the corner while I’m turning.
The correction of the sway bar will now begin to shake hands with the bushings from the control arms that also contain the ball joints. As they get worked harder, the struts and their bushings begin to fail.
Watch some videos on control arm and strut replacement as well as do some window shopping at rock auto for them. You’ll find a new control arm is less expensive than the labor to install new replacements ball joints & bushings.
