Was it easy? Is this something a Newbie could do? Or should I ask a mechanic? And how much should I be charged? id love to get info on how to lower my Tahoe and if it’s a diy type of projects

I lowered mine at the Chevy dealership I work at

If you do moderate wrenching, I believe that you could do the job yourself. Others who have done it themselves will chime in.

DIY for me may be very different than DIY for you. I don't know your skills, so I can't say if you can do it or not. Can you change rear springs? Can you change out front hubs and spindles, maybe control arms if things are found to be bad? Replace shocks? Depending on how low you go, can you cut metal parts off the frame for added clearance?

If you can do those, then you can lower your tahoe.
