I exchanged my factory 20's for the summer with 22" 305/40/22 wheels. Besides a wheel alignmnet and balancing of the wheels is there anything else I should be concerned with?

Thanks,

If your alignment was ok before then it will still be ok. Wheels do not change the alignment, however it is generally good practice to at least have the alignment when new tires are put on.

Thanks mdtahoe. The reason I asked is becuase someone told me if I take long trips there is chip that needs to be installed so that the tranny does not burn out??? I found that very hard to believe.

Never heard of that...
As far as that slignment suggestion. lol, usually when switching from 20's to 22's, there's gonna be a new set of tires so an alignment would be good ;)

The speedometer being calibrated makes more sense. I will look into that.

Thanks.
