Any recommendations? Seen some that are $159...seems outrageous to me. Rough Country has one for $59 but says 07+... Thought I read somewhere that I'll work just needs to be bent a little but can't find it.

Thanks.

I have the rough country on my truck, an 04 escalade. It takes quite a bit of bending to get it to work. They are not thin so they don't bend easy. It was a lot of trial and error before I got it to work, even after I got it to line up correctly with my light bar its still a little too thick and it doesn't let the doors close correctly. I get wind noise around the upper door seals around 40 mph. Ill be taking them back off to do a little more work to them. I don't know how comfortable you are with fabrication, but these mounts are far from an easy bolt on. You also will need to drill a total of 6 1/2" holes into your door pillar, that step alone scares a lot of people off. A cordless impact comes in handy when installing the rivet type inserts into the 1/2" holes.

crazy to me that the mounts are starting to cost more then the Light bars themselves.

Yeah considering how little there is to the mounts the pricing is outrageous. I plan on cutting mine up and fabbing them to sit a little lower. If I can get them set up so they don't create any wind noise I might try reproducing them. I think I would have been better off starting from scratch being they are nowhere near the shape I got them in. I work in a fab shop so I have access to a CNC so I could probably get the cost down to something more realistic than these $125+ setups.

Yah I know I could make something but don't have the equipment to make the bends.

I've got a 52" mounted on my Tahoe and I get major wind noise. I think it comes from the light bar itself more than the mounts. I've played around with the positioning of the bar and at different angles its not so bad but still there. I also get wind noise coming from the doors where the mounts sit. If I can figure out how to get rid of that, I'm good with the noise from the light bar. Here's a pic of mine, think I need to lower the brackets like a half inch or so.

What bar and mounts did you get?

Love your switch placement. Where did you get those too?
