P0700 and p0716 09 Yukon xl 5.3 Sle2

I received both codes yesterday while at a stop light. I felt a clunk all of a sudden and it immediately turned on the check engine light. There doesn't seem to be an issue with the speedometer, shifting, over heating or, anything. The transmission oil does seem a bit light brown. I changed a fuse 15a fuse(when I first swapped them around it caused smoke also I changed the ground battery cable last week for an electrical issue) on the recommendation of some YouTube video. I cleared the code but, haven't driven it enough after that to see if it'll come back on. Another video said that it might be possible to be a bad alternator which I assume I had since I have a flickering dashboard. Ordered a new alternator and it should be here tomorrow. Any idea on what it might be? I do have a cam (required a tune) in it that causes idle surge if that matters, other than that it's stock.
