Those headers are making me drool by the way... pure quality craftsmanship there. Pre-family I wouldn't think twice about em, but with the little ones etc etc, I didn't even want to go with the corsa sport but rather the touring... so I guess the trade off is no headers and the sport, bummer because those sound amazing... glad to hear my blower isn't alone when it comes to volume of whine! I swear my MP-112 Maggie on my SS was quieter! Fine by me because I love it! Great job man, that truck looks and sounds absolutely awesome

So I've been fighting with a leak at the headers. I went to the local auto store and picked up a set of felt pro gaskets along with some copper high temp gasket spray. I compared the 2 and it's a big difference.
The ones that came with he ARH is flimsy like card board and flat. The felt pro it more stiff and has hooks on the end so you can just start the outter bolts and drop the gasket in and it's perfectly aligned.
I called the dealer to get pricing one oem gaskets. They wanted 250 for one side. Ridiculous! On top of that, they only stocked the drivers side.
You can see in the pics I believe the leaks were from trying to hold the header, align the gasket and start a bolt. All that moving around must of scored the gasket. Also the felt pro have recessed edges where it sits in the ports for a better fit. Retorqued to 20 ft pound and no more leak tick.

Got to share this awesome torque wrench. Snap on electronic wrench. Impossible to overtorque and takes all the guessing out of proper torque specs.
Expensive tool but much cheaper on eBay. Also less expensive and fusteraring than a snapped bolt in the block.

Yes both sides. I wanted to be sure. I literally had the headers off like 4 times now checking, retorquing and trying to different bolt sequences to try and get it to stop. The good thing is everything is new so it comes apart easily

Results are In. The tunes from Justin at Black bear are perfect. The tunes are consistent through out the pulls. Max hp 320 max torque 330 @ 7 pounds boost on the 5.3. Stock dyno pulls on non modded Tahoe was 178 from what he shown me from another dyno pull

He shown me another Tahoe that had a callaway super that was similar to my set up. With the ARH headers, I made 30 more horse than his.
