GM Serial Data Gateway Module and Radio N242435631 Service bulletin - 24 Yukon

I had my Yukon XL AT4 (6.2) in for an oil change yesterday and they wanted to do this software update which they said was released on 7/23/24. Based on the horror stories I’ve read on here about these types of updates bricking a perfectly-functioning vehicle, I declined. Any idea what this one’s all about?

Not sure on this one…but if they say you need it, I’d let them do it. I searched it but can’t find anything on it…

I’m not finding anything either on that N24 #… the bricked rigs have always been OTA updates that fail and drain the battery. If they install it at the dealer I wouldn’t worry about it.
