Did a search and came up empty.
Drivers door lock switch works fine to LOCK the doors. Works to UNLOCK about 1 out of 100 tries, so I am assuming a bad connection, or dirty contacts.
Passenger side switch locks and unlocks all four doors every time.

Was surprised to find out that I could not purchase the door lock switch only; it only comes as a complete assembly with window switches, mirror adjustment, etc.

Found multiple YouTube videos for door lock switches on later models (07 and after) but nothing for the 04 era.

Not a big deal if I have to purchase. Would just like to know if anyone has had any luck disassembling the old one; cleaning contacts or whatever.

Not the best process in the video but this guy shows how it comes apart, and you can clean the switch pads and contacts while it's apart. DeOxit or an electronic cleaner is your friend.

Also, be sure to remove the door panel in order to get the switch out. DO NOT pry the switch up out of the panel; there is a retaining screw that can be accessed only from the back side of the panel and simply prying will break the mount. (The earlier -- 00-02, I think -- do not have the screw and can be removed without taking the door panel off.)

That is a gem of an information bit that is really good to know.

If by chance you decide to replace the driver's side switch assembly, I recommend buying the AC Delco (oem) brand (~$80) from a reputable seller (guaranteed original) vs. an inexpensive no-name brand at half the cost. I made that mistake and found that when pressing the switches the whole assembly would twist (flimsy) which results with intermittent switch contact, putting you right back where you started.

Not finding an AC Delco for that price. More like $240!!!

just buy a junkyard one off of ebay color doesn't even have to match you can swap the internals over.

most likely it will break when you try to remove it from the door panel even when done correctly as noted above, but you can just put a screw in it and it will be fine
