I thought the only difference in the ppv suspension was lower springs in the rear and “lower” struts up front but I may be wrong I went from nose diving hard to leveled I had to crank em down a bit type way cause I diddnt have anything changed in the rear
So it should work

My 09 Tahoe is an SSV. It was once a police vehicle. It has the ZW7 (premium smooth ride). I want to replace my rear shocks. I can't find any at decent price. I've heard that some companies make a conversion kit. Does anyone know of a quality company? If I just bought Z71 springs and shocks, would that do it?

Just get a set of the yellow or silver Bilsteins and be done with it if you care about the light on the dash order some dummy sensors for the air ride or whatever system it had on it

The Silverado is a rc 7.5” stretched to 8” and the Tahoe has a fabtech 6” stretched to 8” as you can see all the angles on the Tahoe are still great and rides great the Silverado is maxed out on the alignment cams and is just enough to get alignment straight long story short sometimes it’s better to buy a better lift to achieve a better ride and better angles on your front suspension View attachment 376184View attachment 376185View attachment 376186
Great looking trucks. I agree on the Fabtech lift. I used that lift on my 2007 Tahoe LTZ and have an excellent ride and handling with 37s mounted.

Thanks. Front bumper is a TrailReady made specifically for the Tahoe… Grille is a Royality Core and requires removing the horizontal Chevy grille bar and badge. The quality of the bumper and grill is amazing. Pricey, but well worth it.

Rear bumper (I’ll post a picture later) is an Iron Bull modified with a Wilco Max swing-away spare mount and a jeep spare hub welded together. I love having my 37 inch spare mounted in the back like Jeeps!

Some more details:
2007 Tahoe LTZ - 37x12.5x20 Mickey Thompson tires on Black Rhino Armory wheels, Fabtech 6-8 inch lift, 4.56 gears and HD axles, Amerihood, TrailReady bumper, KC and PIAA lights, ARB roof rack, Raptor paint, Bushwacker fender flares, Royalty Core grille, Kooks headers, Warn Winch, dual Optima batteries, Pro comp skid plate

My Silverado had a royalty core grill in it I actually just got rid of it for a stock one I kinda regret it kinda don’t but I still want one for the Tahoe IMG_7810.jpegjust wanted to change it up and do more of a all white color matched scheme vs the black. I don’t like those mesh grills in the Silverado at all but that one I seen on a Tahoe yesterday and the one on your Tahoe looks sick!!
