I have a 2007 gmc yukon xl 2500 and wanted to add/change the cabin filter. I successfully installed a wix cabin filter to our family truckster. With some muscle you do not need any heat applied cutting out the bottom internal air compartment slot. I have added some pics to show what is looks like when started and when I was finished, easy but time consuming, enjoy and good luck.
