I recently purchased a used 2021 Yukon Denali and I found a GM parts listing for tow hook (with threads) that said it was compatible but I don't know. Personally, I'm going to try to have a custom front 2" receiver added since they don't make any for 2021+ and I can get a tow point to fit the receiver - which will work for front or rear.

Does your bumper cover have any cutouts for hooks?

I'm not sure as I couldn't find specifics and I wonder if the frame is right behind this area? I found a threaded hook GMC part but not sure it's for the front. 2021+ seems to have limited parts/info.

This says it fits - does it attach to the frame? or are other parts needed?

It is hard to say without a side by side measurement. They sure don't stick out very much on the SUVs, almost as if it was an "Afterthought" or they thought people would only be installing them for looks.
doesn't take much plastic to be in the way, I was going to leave the oem tow rings on but there was "barely" room to get a strap on them for recovery use and no way to fit a d-ring on them. Adding the kit made it much better, besides if you are on a trail and get hung up or stuck you want to be able to recover quickly and not hold up other people screwing around, go prepared to recover quickly, straps and other necessary gear in arms reach not buried somewhere that's going to take you 20 minutes just to start getting unstuck.

I just got my hooks on my 2012 Tahoe. $60 shipped from ebay....OEM. Used. Now I need to get me some covers to fit around them.
Do you by any chance have a photo of the installation? I'm thinking of doing the same thing on my 2024 Tahoe High Country. How did you solve the bumper insert cutout? Thanks.

I don't remember. Will go out in AM to take a pic. Mine is a 2WD.

I would like to be prepared for winter ditch rescues with my Yukon XL SLT 4WD by creating a pull point on the front like my Silverado has.

Has anyone here put tow hooks on the front of their Yukon? Do they mount to the frame the same as a pickup?

Has anyone added a front receiver hitch?

How were your bumper covers modified to accommodate either one?

TIA
While my 07 is a bit extreme, I have aftermarket bumpers with integrated hitches in front and back and use a heavy duty rear receiver hitch and monster hook for both strength and safety.

I have used this with heavy duty soft shackles and tow straps and have pulled semi tractors out of the mud and many stranded cars out of ditches (without needing the winch).
I also have a huge Warn winch. I highly recommend the monster hook over smaller frame hooks due to its ability to use almost any tow straps, ropes and shackles. I do like having a front hitch as well!

Thank you for the hook recommendation. Yes, these look much more substantial than the welded ring on my hitch shackle. The spring clip is nice for when the line goes slack. Looks like they will bolt right in to the receiver extension too.

Those are serious mods on your truck. Looks like a lot of fun.
