Noticed a rattle from where the seat belt comes out of the frame in the driver side. Anyone have an idea what it could be or what I could try to tighten to fix it? Pic of the general area attached.if I press a bit on the chrome hardware circled it seems to suppress the rattle

It doesn’t seem to change if it’s in a different position and yes I'm wearing the seatbelt.
probably have to pop that pillar cover open and take a look inside, sometimes all it takes is a small piece of felt or even a piece of tape to quiet up a rattle noise.
harbor freight sells plastic trim tools so you don't mare anything up, and there may be a screw holding it on, if there is sometimes they just have a plastic cap covering the access hole. haven't looked that hard at the t2 interiors yet
Thanks. It’s under warranty and I’ve got to go in this coming week for a software update and other things so I may just mention it to them. I just didn’t want it to be something where they had to take the entire door apart to do it and deal with all that

I feel like I hear something over my shoulder/head up in the area, but I wonder if it's actually coming from higher up and farther back in the truck, like from the rear driver's-side door's internal trim/weatherstripping or something. I only hear it over bumpy road surfaces, but... I hear it. lol
Sometimes the lock mechanism rattles around. The only thing above there is the same seatbelt point the OP mentioned. Go to your rig and open the door and shake it. If no noise pull in the seat belt anchor. Anything above that is in the headliner.
I have this going on currently too which is a separate issue from the seatbelt one I posted about. I've heard a clicking type noise for a while that sounded like it was coming from behind me. After making my wife drive me around so I could determine where it's coming from, I discovered it's the second-row driver-side captain chair. Right inside the middle of the chair (where a person's shoulders would rest) there's a clicking noise. We discovered that it seemed to mostly stop if we folded down the headrest, so Chevy ordered me a replacement headrest which didn't fix my issue. Now (this coming Friday) they're replacing the entire seat frame and hardware to try to fix it. I've had my Tahoe in to the dealership maybe four times for this issue and have ridden with the lead technician a couple times and he hears the noise too but has no idea why it's happening. We're just throwing stuff at the wall hoping something sticks at this point, I think.
Good question and I'm not sure. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what the mechanism is to remove the headrest, but I'll check it out and report back. I know there's a button the side but that button just seems to lay it down. I have no idea if the dealer has tested this theory or not, but I assume they've not. They seem to want to do a little as possible and just hope it goes away on its own lol
