Started adding speakers, amp, sub to my new K2, then stopped after putting in the kicker ksc270 speakers to the corner dash locations. Somehow the tiny 2 3/4 speakers completely changed the whole sound. More clarity, volume, and bass with less distortion - and not just a little improvement. It has to be the crossovers lending power somehow back to the door 6x9s. Best $60 mod I have ever done - just beware, they look like a joke...

Those are 4 ohm speakers. Could be the extra load on the output would change the sound quaility some. I did get to a web site with the link, heck of a deal if true.

It says they take PayPal but tread carefully, I poked around on there a bit looks fishy.
It's easy for a person or persons to create a new website, list stuff at fantastic price, grab a bunch of money and sail ship before anyone is the wiser, happens all the time

I can't speak for the actual impedance of the Kickers as I didn't check before I installed them but I just read 3.5 ohm off each bose tweeter I had pulled out of my Denali. My assumption has always been that the Kickers were lower impedance and/or more efficient as I did get codes after I changed the speakers but without changing anything else the whole Bose system sounded better and more clear. After a couple of weeks of break-in on the tweeters it sounds GREAT for a factory system.

I've done several GMT800 Bose setups a huge favor by powering the tiny factory sub separately which gives the front speakers a lot more power to work with and they sound a lot clearer. Not to mention you can put more than 700w RMS into that little 4.5" sub and it slams better than you would ever expect and I have yet to blow one. I suspect the same principle applies to both situations as I've never actually had gripes with Bose speakers themselves they always sound good but GM and Bose really love to underpower things to the point of ruining them.

Catching up on my mods... I removed the rear bracket and hitch fascia because I use this to tow the camper and utility trailer. I rarely had the old fascia installed on the 2011. I also trimmed the front air dam because the previous owner had already scratched it up. I like this look better anyway.

I had originally wanted to wire my dashcam to the passenger side fuse box, but couldn't find a suitable accessory or run tap. So I wired it to the driver side misc accessory (via a fuse piggyback tap). I wasn't sure that was legit since the original fuse was a 10 amp and I piggybacked a 5 amp. SO I bought the upfitter cable part number 15547108. That cable had crazy wire colors and was mis-pinned so I tested the circuits (and future ones I may want) and re-pinned it. I put the dashcam on a dedicated 10 amp.
