So far I’ve driven over 500 miles now and the difference is night and day. Very pleased with no complaints
When you put them in the oven, did you remove the pistons?

Nicely done. That upgrade brings it up to what GM should have had as a factory option for a tow / performance package a long time ago. It’s such a great platform most owners drive these trucks like a light import passenger vehicle.

If you zip these trucks with short stops and in the same spirited fashion you would a a Honda CRV, the brakes are gonna remind you that you’re moving 3T around with a pulsing in the pedal from warping or pad build up.

Outstanding post and how to. So my '19 Yukon XL SLT has 20" wheels/tires, so probably no grinding is needed?

Here is a photo with caliper on my 2017 TAHOE with Z71 Wheels-18in. One could get away with grinding a chamfer on to the inside edge of the caliper before installation. However, I did the grinding after it was mounted so I had to touch the center rib to get that angle.
