thanks for the response. any idea what causes this delaminating? also, could these be calcium deposits? i live in an area that has hard water problems also. That looks like delaminating of the clear coat? If so those wheels need to be refinished.
It’s just clear coat failure. Could be from bad prep or just environmental conditions.thanks for the response. any idea what causes this delaminating? also, could these be calcium deposits? i live in an area that has hard water problems also.
My first impression is...... Your wheels are polished aluminum, with a clear-POWDERCOAT.hi everyone, I have a 2015 LTZ with 20 inch wheels. i'm attaching a photo where you see some nasty marks that dont come off. i dont think its corrosion but i tried the turtle wax chrome polish to remove them but they're still there. any help would be appreciated.

Since about half of the wheel is damaged, it looks like something got splashed onto it. ( How are the other wheels?)hi everyone, I have a 2015 LTZ with 20 inch wheels. i'm attaching a photo where you see some nasty marks that dont come off. i dont think its corrosion but i tried the turtle wax chrome polish to remove them but they're still there. any help would be appreciated.

Good question.....Are those the Declad wheels? The ones that have like a foam/plastic face that can be scrapped off.
Nope….. detailed many of these for clients. They’re all one piece wheel with no fake plastic face on the front. Are those the Declad wheels? The ones that have like a foam/plastic face that can be scrapped off.
