I have this weird noise coming from the tahoe. It is hard to describe. So far I changed the serpentine belt and harmonic balancer but it is still there. I did take off the valve cover and confirmed that all the lifters are moving. I checked the flywheel and torque converter bolts. Everything seems fine. It may be a exhaust leak but the car is fairly quiet on start up and doesnt start making that noise until about 3 minutes of it running and goes away if I am driving above 30mph. The noise does return if I am idling or going slower speeds. Any help would be appreciated. Here is a link to the video of it running!

Take the serpentine belt off and see if it is still there. It’s okay to run it for a short period of time that way. Take the A/C belt off as well. That will help narrow things down.

How many miles on the motor?
