Hi everyone,
Previously while driving my 2023 Tahoe High Country, I could barely hear any noise from the outside including the road and other cars. Even on the undivided highway, I pleasantly enjoyed my music. At least this is what I remember.....
The Tahoe was just in the shop (local mechanic) for two weeks to repair a dent above the rear right wheel well. No new panel required. They took off the bump to acccess the rear right panel.
So I havn't driven it for two weeks until a couple days ago. I don't know if it's just me, in my head, or that I am remembering wrong. I now hear loud road noises while driving on the undivided highway. Every time a car drives past me, I can hear the "whoosh", for every single car. This is really annoying because some times there are cars one after another so I hear "whoosh" "whoosh" "whoosh" and it bothers me a lot.
I can hear car car engines when it drives past me if my I am parked.
I checked the tires and it's still the stock 22 inch tires.
This is suddently annoying me. I don't know if it's always been like this and it's just in my head now.
Am I crazy? Is this normal?
All windows are up of course. Sunroof is also closed. Checked the door insulation strips and they are there.
Can you guys/gals please just confirm with me if the whooshing sound is normal when you drive past other cars? Undivided highway at 80 km/hr. So during high traffic I constantly hear "whoosh".
Any suggestions, thank you.
