I sold my 2022 Tahoe and bought a 2023 Silverado trail boss. This was not my best decision. Should’ve kept the Tahoe.
Maybe someone on this site can help answer this question. I have been to two Chevy dealerships (Parts Departments) and also have been on the phone with Chevrolet customer service. They cannot help me. The new trail boss that I bought has a front passenger seat that is manual (not power) My spouse is handicap and a power front seat for her would be optimum.
Does anyone know if I can purchase the power seat rail and adapt my current seat to it? I understand that I may have to run a power wire to that area but maybe the existing wiring harness is there with one already. I don’t know.
There has got to be a simple solution to this, but again Chevrolet parts department could not help me.
Anyone on this site have any ideas?

The seat should just bolt in, look up the harness doctor online and send him a message to see if he can make you a harness for the power needed to the seat. You most likely will not have "memory" for that seat but the power adjust and heat should work pretty easily

Go to an OEM parts site like gmpartsdirect.com and search for the passenger [power] seat for your truck. You should be given a schematic of the various components associated with that seat. You won't be shown what's there in your truck already in terms of being able to just install a power seat and hook existing power to it, but it might provide a starting point for you.

Otherwise, a lot of these parts counter-guys insist that they need a VIN [off the vehicle that came with the parts you're looking for] in order to be able to look up the specific parts your after. In that case, see if the dealership has a similar truck with a power passenger seat from the factory on the lot, and use its VIN to have the parts guy look up what you need.

Beyond all of that, I think you're going to have to try to find a dealer tech who has worked on both the power and manual passenger seats and knows what all is required for the swap.
