I have a 2015 Yukon XL 1500 SLT and looking for some knowledge here. So my thermostat fan has been running when I turn car off for about a month now on and off. so a few days ago I was driving and stopped at a red light as it turned green I started driving and noticed the dash lights started...

The answer to all of these 2015-2020 "cooling fans running after shutoff" will always be the thermostat.

I'd love someone to test my theory when experiencing this symptom. Simply replace the thermostat, clear any pending codes and drive.

I feel quite confident the issue will never arise again. Of course, it never hurts to replace the temperature sensor while there, but I am convinced it's not necessary.
