the root issue here mark with these k2''s is there is a BAD rash of defective temp sensors and thermostats out there on the market, this makes the temp reading incorrect and that makes the fans run high speed 24/7 or even after the vehicle is shut off and/or the ac is turned off because it thinks there is a overheat issue or might be.
it's came up numerous times on the k2's. you can almost bet money what the problem is.
high speed fans
ac disabled
are dead giveaways
watch within the next 30 days it will be posted again......... bet $5
and there it is not but a few days later.........

The answer to all of these 2015-2020 "cooling fans running after shutoff" will always be the thermostat.

I'd love someone to test my theory when experiencing this symptom. Simply replace the thermostat, clear any pending codes and drive.

I feel quite confident the issue will never arise again. Of course, it never hurts to replace the temperature sensor while there, but I am convinced it's not necessary.
