How to stiffen suspension/stop swaying?

Here's your help opinion you are looking for.

That sway bar has very little to do with the spring jounce effect. It will have a lot to do with spring extension if it is unhooked, like some off roader's do. It is to control body sway and shocks help with that too. Those shocks absorb spring action and stop the jounce effect. I did not go back in this thread and look. You have not said whether your suspension is stock or not. Lifted? Lowered? You could have a bad new Rough Country shock.

Not saying the Eibach kits are not quality at all but I would prefer the solid steel bars instead of the hollow bars. I just installed new KYB shocks but I agree with @91RS, at least match the 5100's or install known age all new shocks. The shocks control front and rear spring bounce oscillations and to a point the sway from centerline but the sway bar kits really will stiffen up that sway. I am really looking forward to the different comparison when I get those Hellwig kits on.

How did the Helwig sway bars work out? My 2004 Tahoe LT 4X4 has the same problem.

The Hellwig bars have been on for close to 2.5 years. Never a problem and still feel as good as day 1. It continues to amaze me how much difference those bars make thru curves and corners. I could not be happier.

Due to the mechanical "sway movement", be sure the fittings don't move. ( Check in a week )
Take a picture... It should look like mine..... Is your suspension height, modified?
( After looking at the photo of mine, there may not be anything that will 'turn'...... But the vertical link should be solid and not move independently, from the bushings?

Yeah, I'm lowered 3".
This is the jam nut I had to take out for the bar to be parallel to the ground. Yukon new rear shocks.jpg
If i didn't take it out i wouldn't have been able to get it as low as it needed to be.
