Anyone installed a WIT transmission cooler bypass valve on the 10 speeds yet? Also - which fluid to use?

In about a month we're going to be pulling a trailer back from Florida to Kentucky. Our Yukon should handle it fine but I'm a believer in upgrading things when possible and while looking around saw the thermal bypass valve upgrades for the 6 and 8 speeds were now made for the 10 speed as well. Has anyone done these yet?
Yes, I know it talks about Ford transmissions but if you dig around on their site it's the kit they recommend for the GM/Ford 10 speeds.

Anyone done these? Tips/Tricks? Looks relatively simple but looks can be deceiving.

Also, what is the recommended fluid for these transmissions? I figure I'll lose some while I am swapping parts and will need something to replace it with.

I think this kit is for the diesel version of the 10 speed. There is a difference in the cooling path from the diesel and the gas transmissions. I have pulled a 6,000 lbs. trailer and never went above 180*. I don't know if I would use anything other than the recommended Dexron ULV. I have not seen any aftermarket replacement for it yet.
