Which company offers a better replacement for the OEM Magnaride struts?
Arnott and Strutmasters seems to be the top referenced 3rd party options

Live on a caliche dirt road so there will be fine powder and bumps daily.

Pics of the truck, please.

Go to GMPartsDirect.com, enter your VIN, go to the Suspension section, and look for the exploded diagram of the shocks. You should find what you are looking for along with the correct part number. And, the cost will be significantly cheaper than the local dealer. You may need to compare secondary RPO codes to select the specific shock for your truck.

DEALER, ROCKAUTO, not sure who else I replaced mine years ago and they are still working fine, but around sept 2018 gm made the oem shocks lifetime warranty
provided you buy them from a authorized dealer/seller.
I would presume sellers offering a 12 month warranty are either not authorized dealers or simply don't want to mess around with it.
