Just thought i'd share this finding after changing out the transfercase fluid. I got the car @ 130k miles. 1 owner, dealer serviced, but I doubt they ever did the transfer case. The last time they did a trans flush as at 60k. When I go the car at 130k, the transmission had a violent Jerk when going slow from 1st to 2nd gear. The temp sensor was also intermittently not working, according to the dash readings in tow mode. I changed the fluid (mobile1) and filter i the trans. also got a new temp sensor from the dealer at 65$ (glad they didnt try to rip me off on the price) Shifts 100times smoother after i changed it. 1000 miles later, I changed the trans fluid again, without the filter and it shifts even better now.

While doing that, I did the transfercase fluid with Redline D6. Found this on the drain plug. Car runs fine.

Not related, but also wrapped the exhaust that's close to the tranny pan. hopefully it will reduce some unwanted heat. I guess it wont hurt.
