    Audio question for seasoned installer

Hey guys I’m so lost I need some help. I bought this 04 Yukon Denali with an aftermarket head unit installed, only rear speakers working. So I recently unhooked my battery to do some work and when I reconnected it no speakers worked, but head unit acted normal. Checked fuses and nothing so I...

I’ll check but it’s so weird that it worked, I disconnected the battery, then stopped working. I’m gonna dive into it tonight

Aftermarket radio no sound after battery disconnect

Yes I have and it did the same thing. It’s got to be a reset of some sort because it worked when I bought it

The sound I posted, does that sound like the tcase? I haven’t found any other issues the only thing I could think of was the tcase internally

Aftermarket radio no sound after battery disconnect

Hey guys I bought this 04 Yukon Denali with an after market radio installed, factory Bose system. Rear speakers worked so I figured the fronts were just blown. I did some work to the truck and had to disconnect the battery, but when I reconnected it the radio is acting like it’s working, but no...

    Help identify a sound

Bump for people looking for an answer 5-10 years from now, I’m 98% sure it’s coming from the awd t-case, but I’m not going to pull the tcase apart. I have checked everything else in the drivetrain and nothing else is out of spec and is working as it should

That’s what I don’t get! My only challenger was only noisy when off throttle when the diff went bad. I checked fluid all is well. Tomorrow I’m gonna start doing the rear main, I’ll check the tcase when I drop it all to see if I can find anything

    Help identify a sound

Nope just got it. Was going to go and do the service on the front rear and tcase. Just did the trans and a couple solenoids. Really hope I don’t have to fix the diff. I’m already doing the rear main seal and plate this weekend! lol

    Help identify a sound

Here you can hear me feathering the throttle. When I let go of the throttle it stops. But if I press on it it comes back. Also noticed yesterday coming to a stop it sounds like a lower pitch version of this and it slows down with the truck slowing down.

And it doesn’t have to be at 40 exactly, that’s just when you can hear it best

When moving. Around 40 mph transmission is in 4th and even lightly touching the throttle, it makes the sound. I’ll post the video right now

    Help identify a sound

Hey guys I’m new here. I have an 04 Yukon Denali I just picked up. Been doing some stuff to it getting it ready to roll and I have this humming sound when I push the throttle, and when I’m slowly coming to a stop. I can feel it in the steering column too. I would attach a video but I’m not sure...
