Curious if it does it every single time the engine is warm. If not, I would lean more towards an electrical issue (gauge stepper motor). Put a mechanical gauge on there and know for sure.
I would try lubing the tracks and see if that helps. As far as sealing it goes, I would try calling some glass shops and see if they will sell you the seal for it as opposed to affixing to the body.
I've owned my 04 Yukon Denali for 2 years now. I purchased with no maintenance records and did not run a carfax. I regret these things and I should have took a scanner with me when I bought it. Any decent scanner will tell you the drive cycle readiness (an indicator to when the codes were...
I put a new half shaft in her this morning and now she moves again. There is some definite clatter coming from under her though. Looks like the transfer case will be getting a fluid change. Darn. This might be a pricey foul up.

Finally got around to replacing my cracked oil pan courtesy of my PO. I could not finish it all in one night so I pushed the truck in with the front differential dropped. This was a mistake, I should have thrown the bolts in and nuts on the passenger side just to keep it in...
I am happy with the repair, plus it is behind the mirror so I won't see it. I am just being a perfectionist. I just think some things could have contributed to a better result. I think widening the hole in the chip to help the resin flow into the chip. Also, it has been overcast in Phoenix...

Before and after of chip repair. This one did not come out as good as the first. Not sure why. Still very acceptable. I think it is because of the angle of the facets of the chip. The first repair is much more seamless inside the windshield
Went with the Permatex kit as that is what Vatozone had on the shelf. My first time using it and could not be simpler, and chip is all but invisible now.

I had p0300 when I replaced plugs and wires, turned out my budget wires were not adequate, purchased some delcos and was right as rain after that. I think you might be on the right track though with fuel pressure and plug fouling as a result. May want to contact your tuner and ask?
Filled a chip in the windshield. Wish I would have bought 2 kits because I found another chip that was hiding behind the rear view mirror. That will get filled next week.
Code has not returned.....yet. I replaced the vent and purge solenoid recently. <18 months. Doesn't mean it hasn't failed, just mean less likely. I have never replaced the canister until now. I filled on Saturday evening with success, so fingers crossed. If the code returns, the sensors...
P0446 code reared it's head again. Also, hard to fill fuel tank. Changed charcoal canister this time around. Old one didn't seem plugged, but had a bulge that I did not notice on the new one. If this doesn't work, going to try and replace purge and vent solenoids again, if that doesn't work...
Just got lucky, trying to diagnose this issue almost had me buying the eibach sway bar kit. Thank goodness I started lurking in that thread and saw your post regarding the jounce stops.
Shout out to Mark (@Rocket Man) and this thread https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/frustrated-with-2005-tahoe-suspension.114834/page-3
In my inexperience I cut out the jounce bumpers mount and put in a universal pancake bump stop thinking that it was just a plain old bump stop. Wrong...
Had the C0265 on the Duramax and the reflow job fixed it. But that was years ago and I did not remember the exact code number, which was why I suggested it. I agree with you on the grounding gremlins that these trucks have, and is a good place to start.
