Yeah, it otherwise acted completely normal. No MIL/CEL lit up and I havent done a scan yet. I'm not sure an electronics error would display a code until it started affecting other components. Thanks -

Yesterday morning my gauge cluster went funny. All my gauges were reading way too high and didn't reset when I keyed off. See attached pic. This is with the truck idling with the transmission in park. I had to disconnect the battery for a second to rezero them. Then they were fine. 09... -
Cruise Control not working
Months late but am just browsing around and saw this. Check/change your brake pedal switch. Its probably stuck, wore out, broken.... Cheap fix and you should be good again.- NC_John

Oil pressure ?
It all depends on how it was maintained. We just had to rebuild a 6.0 here at the shop for low oil pressure. Thought the gauge was bad. Tested it with a mechanical gauge- read very low pressure. Tried two new oil pumps and it still wouldn't make oil pressure. Determined with a trusted GM...- NC_John

Thanks. Hard to believe now its an 09. It's at the body shop right now getting a redo on a piss-poor door repair (deer strike from previous owner), the front bumper fixed (guess the PO never saw a curb she didn't like) and all the scratches/scuffs removed. If I'm happy with how the body... -

Finished! Got the bus finished up on Saturday. I put hushmat over the entire floor: Then started putting the freshly detailed interior back together. The new carpet fit exactly like it was supposed to - all the details were dead on. No trimming, no cutting, no messing around at all... -

I'm up the 85 from you in Rockwell (south of Salisbury on 52). I'll see how the new one coming in looks and then see how I might want to fix the second. The map pockets are pretty mickey mouse. If they ever get used they pretty much come apart. -

Got my new carpet from the dealer today (got for about what aftermarket was going to cost). It is 100% original- no trimming, molded perfectly, everything like the one that came out- except this one is all new and clean and all. The only problem is they can't get that molded piece that fits... -

I've had mine right off to inspect and can't find anything broken or obviously missing. Both sides are doing it which is weird. I'll have to look at the parts drawings but with the seat assembled its hard to tell if something is missing. I need to look at another immediately adjacent to... -
Sound Deadener - how much?
OK. Got the burb gutted, new carpet is on the way. Now is the time for me to put some sound deadener on the floor and quarters with everything removed. I found a hushmat kit that has 30 sheets (58 sq ft). Is that enough to get the floor and maybe some of the quarters? I should have... -

Great news... I can get factory replacement carpet right from GM (my wife's price, with her discount, is about the same as the aftermarket I looked at). It is shipping from Lansing, MI and I should see it late this week. I'll check out frost king. Thanks! -
