when I pulled mine back in December I used a cryptic combination of different length extensions and swivels. I also found I had to have my tongue in a very specific postion for everything to align and work. It was a pain in the ass. Remove the rear crossmember and allow the tranny to tilt...
2002 2WD with 4.8L. 0-60 feels like its around four minutes. I start timing it but get distracted or lose interest before I hit 60 and start doing something else instead....
I hoped not but it had to be asked! I know my wife would beat the crap out of me if I suggested her weight was affecting the handling characteristics or performance of the truck. I probably wouldn't get any for a while. A LONG while....
:laughing1:
I don't know what kind of miles you've got on your 'hoe but did it tighten up the wheel (steering response). Mines got 216K now and the steering feels a bit "loose." Especially in a crosswind- it wanders all over the interstate like it has a sail on the roof.
I don't know if its just crappy...
Thanks. I just put a new windshield in the 'hoe today so can't take advantage of any sales right now. I bookmarked the site for when I'm ready.

Cool- great specs on them. Definitely not the made in...
My front rotors are getting close to being ready for replacement (I feel a wiggle every once and a while under light braking).
Anybody have any luck with a decent rotor/brake pad they can recommend? I was thinking of getting GM factory replacements but remember there being problems with...
JL 8W3 Update
I finally finished the factory recommended (ported) box for my JL 8" sub and it freaking rocks. It definitely sounds at least as good as that RF 12" I've been running while taking up way less space.
The only issue I have with the box is the 18" port they want doesn't effin'...
I am way late to the party on this one but what did that do to your highway mpg? I do 80% of my driving on the interstate. 4.11's would kill me. I think I've got 3.42's right now IIRC (checked the rear end a while back- I don't think it was a 3.08).
I put a mildly built small block 355...
Maybe a discount for myself. She works at a nissan dealer and is going to try to get me one through their parts department. Its typically not very much. Probably cheaper to buy online but if I can get pricing close local I'll do it. I read too many comments about guys online receiving...
10-4. I've got my wife pricing the round tube model through one of her vendors... I can get it powdercoated to match the truck but think it might conceal better just black....
I'm just outside of Salisbury (between Greensboro and Charlotte).
My 02 came from the factory without a hitch and I want to put one on. I'm not going to be pulling anything heavy (stock 4.8 won't pull much even if I wanted it to)- maybe a yard trailer, likely more often one of those racks to hold coolers and stuff.
Anybody know what a decent looking hitch...
I'm real close to pulling the trigger on his 2/3-4 drop kit. I'm wondering what else to replace at that time to freshen the front end up. I'm also wondering how much sense it makes to put unnecessary money into a truck with this kind of mileage....Its making me $500/mos on vehicle allowance...
