My 02 came from the factory without a hitch and I want to put one on. I'm not going to be pulling anything heavy (stock 4.8 won't pull much even if I wanted it to)- maybe a yard trailer, likely more often one of those racks to hold coolers and stuff.

Anybody know what a decent looking hitch for the NBS is? I can't tell from the aftermarket sites. The factory one seems to just stick down right at the reciever itself. I don't want a big 2" bar all the way across the back of the truck if I don't have to have it.

Thoughts? Recommendations?

The big 2" bar across the back is necessary.

Curt is the supplier my company uses. Their stuff seems to be pretty decent. In many cases you can get the receiver powdercoated in one of 8 cases straight from the factory. The warehouse I have to order that stuff from is in Goldsboro. Where in NC are you located?

10-4. I've got my wife pricing the round tube model through one of her vendors... I can get it powdercoated to match the truck but think it might conceal better just black....

I'm just outside of Salisbury (between Greensboro and Charlotte).

Maybe a discount for myself. She works at a nissan dealer and is going to try to get me one through their parts department. Its typically not very much. Probably cheaper to buy online but if I can get pricing close local I'll do it. I read too many comments about guys online receiving internet-bought hitches shipped to their doors all messed up (scratched and chipped) by the shippers (they aren't packed well for courier shipping). I'll be mad as hell if I buy a brand new hitch and have to paint it because the UPS guy was pissed it was heavy. If I buy local and its damaged, I can at least refuse it.
