You will need a 3 inch body lift, Really that what you need. Any good name brand setup will come with the whole set up. All a body lift is are new spacers that replace the old body mounts lifting the body in this case 3 inches above the frame. Some people don;t run them for safety concerns...
The loss is do to many factors that you can not control, Weather humidity and such, When you installed it did you remove the old airbox tray so you get fresh air from below? But if it really bothers you the cheap solution would be just to wrap the pipe in some sort of insulation to prevent heat...
I was lucky enough to own the two dogs(at the same time) I always wanted, A English Bulldog named Xena and a Rotty named Sturmgewehr, Sturm for short. I don't know what it is with Rotty's and TP but would come home to a freshly shredded roll.

The one that says 4lbs electric supercharger, well that how much the shipping weight is and not the performance. Its only a bilge blower for a boat and maybe can do 80 to 120 cfm. Your truck sucks in more air than that at idle...
