I only know the year models that I have. 2015-2018.. I think they're all good vehicles with good engines. I feel like I lost on the 'get a newer model year' gamble though.
If I were to do it again I'd find a super-clean gen 3 or 4 suburban with a billion miles on it and replace the engine and...
Welcome to the forum.
Seems like the only thing it could be is a cracked ring? If the oil isn't coming from up top the only place it could come from is the bottom? No? You went through the heads.. Push rods good? No noise when running? The odd 25 then 200 psi compression could only be the...

It makes perfect sense to get an electric car but it's like a minivan or a riding 50cc scooter.. There's a certain amount of self respect that you loose when you drive any of those.. I just can't do it. (I'm mostly kidding)
NP... Here's the torque specs for the intake.
Intake Manifold Bolt
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution.
Tighten:
Tighten the bolts a first pass in the sequence shown to 5 Nm (44 lb in).
Tighten the bolts a final pass in the sequence shown to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
Here is some info from alldata on that pid.. HPtuners can fix'er up.. And a picture showing it's bank 1. Looks like an air leak. You don't want to turn that pid off, you want to see the error but for testing or with a swap.. it's useful.
Conditions for Clearing the MIL/DTC

Welcome to the forum.
It's possible to remediate most powertrain pid's like the 0430 and the other one(left bank right bank) with HP tuners.. If you don't want to use fuel trims.. Turn off MAF and use speed density.. It's really that easy. At least you'll know why the engine is doing what it's...
My no-start, no ecm communication issue was the main harness ground. I forgot to connect it.. heheh.. It goes on the engine btw.. so maybe put some eyes on the battery terminals and grounds.
They were both blown out, I've since replaced them. I should have gone with the regular shocks.
Whats the gizmo you use to trick the computer? Just a resistor between the wires?
I had to laugh at your smacking the dash, been there.. This has to be a ground or power issue. Can you chart/log and build histograms for your alternator power output and other stuff? There's a lot of tools out there, I use HP tuners. Autoenguinety is another.. I don't like their logging though...
I'm really posing to follow the the thread.
Does it ride better with the fancy suspension removed? My 15 Yukon feels like I'm driving around a harbor freight tool cart.

I waited like you want to and was left holding the bag. I have replaced both engine and trans on my 2015 in the past 11mo.
I renewed my warranty in the form of a GM dealer diag tool. The MDI 2 gizmo. I'll post a link below. If you search for it, they'll all be counterfeit...
Yea, this was my 1st LT rodeo as well. I had to pull and replace the engine because a rod went through the block.
Let me know how it goes. I read you can also clearance the pump with a couple twenty thousands feeler gauges. I used the brackets too.
I just did a cam swap with the engine on a stand. I think I watched that same video. I couldn't get it that f'in cam sprocket to clear. I gave up too easy.
When you're looking at pulling the engine you get a lot more determined. heheh..
You can rent a harmonic balance puller from advance and auto zone..
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can get the cam out of there without removing the oil pan and at last the engine mounts and likely the front axle & steering. You'll see once you get the front cover off...
I have seen brake line and caliper failures that will do this. Most recent was on a BMW 323i.. This could be an internally split hydraulic line to one of the calipers or a shagged caliper puck/seal. You might be able to rebuild it instead of replacing it.
I know this is an old thread but it made me laugh. I call it -- 'Dao of the shade-tree' You need to be shown the way.
My neighbor had never worked on a car or engine much less replace one when I met him 7 years ago. Now he's doing engine swaps with me and taking on project's he'd have never...
