    Just an update, didnt have a good set of gauges to put on it, but bought a bottle of the quick fill freon with the cheap gauge. Let the AC run full blast, compressor engaged, showed the level as being in the green. Messed with it on the way home, took it off auto and just had the blower on low...

    Newbie with 2016 Tahoe rough idle

    I drove three different tahoe's when I purchased our 2015, everyone of them did this, as does a couple buddies. The only thing that has improved it for me was new plugs and wires. It still sits a bit low at idle while in D, but it is not that noticeable.

    Mobil 1 75W 90 LS

    I put 75w 90 Amsoil in both front and rear, 15 z71, no issues so far. Amsoil states that the 75w 90 is acceptable replacement for GMs goofy made up oil in the front diff.

    Child Car Seat Frustration in ‘17 Tahoe

    I'm 6'4", have a 1 and 4 year old, fought the same thing. Wife previously drove a Terrain before our Tahoe, had to put the big car seat behind her. It's a pia, we have the big, NASCAR/NASA car seats too. It gets easier when you can get them forward facing, but we just dealt with it.

    2015 Z71 rear end

    So ran a "build sheet", doesnt say exactly what rear end is in the vehicle, only diff type and gear ratio. It's definitely a 12 bolt versus a GM 10 bolt which apparently is standard. Anybody else have the larger read end, 9.x" on their tahoe?

    Do I have been to 5 different auto parts stores, half try to sell me the gm 10 bolt rear end, which I don't have 10 bolts the other half tell me they can't get it yet? One told me they don't use gaskets and it's just glue/gasket maker. Really making me mad.

    I did both, mainly because it has 96k miles and it was ti It will do something if your current shocks are shot. I think the Bilsteins are a significantly better shock than the stock stuff. I feel the ride is better, cornering and braking are all better with the Bilsteins than the wore out...

    So drivers side was ezpz, took about 2 minutes to get everything in place. Highly suggest a jack capable of getting high, made all the difference. 15mm is your friend, if you don't have an impact socket, get one. I'd suggest getting new sway bar links and switch them out while you are in there...
