Still no change from a steady state. Pretty odd, but has not moved a stitch from normal since reseating the connectors. Anomaly? Who knows.
Maybe a good practice is whenever you are messing around under the hood or dash, to reseat any harness/connector plugs? People swear by products like...
Mevotech seems to make good parts. I would stick with OEM, unless you are doing a full suspension upgrade. Be careful with MOOG.
Mevotech suspension parts are made in Canada, whereas Moog’s parts are manufactured across the world.
Since you suspect the seal, all you can do is remove your driveshaft and check the seal. A new Timken seal is only around $20. If it was not leaking before you removed the driveshaft, then what else could have caused the leak?
The u-joint should be free to move, not bound up, but if you were...
CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE MIL/DTC
The control module turns OFF the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) after 3 consecutive ignition cycles that the diagnostic runs and does not fail.
A current DTC, Last Test Failed, clears when the diagnostic runs and passes.
A history DTC clears after 40...
DTC P0107
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor responds to pressure changes in the intake manifold. The pressure changes occur based on the engine load. The MAP sensor has the following circuits:
5-volt reference circuit
Low reference circuit

DTC P0171 Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1
DTC P0174 Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 2
CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The long term fuel trim weighted average value is more than a calibrated value for 2 seconds.

After going in circles, it looks like it is officially called the Generator Battery Control Module by GM. We will see. The battery is not a year old, so will do some testing after it has been sitting to check resting voltage.
Started it this morning after reseating the harnesses and it went back to 14.2 voltage with no variation. Battery tested at 14.5 and alternator at 14.7 while idling.
Hope we don't have a gremlin in there somewhere?!
The battery gauge has always been at 14 or a tick past, and suddenly today it is near redline, stayed there then, dropped a bit to say 16 or so. Any thoughts?
Otherwise nothing else is crazy and everything works fine.
You should do all those upgrade and more!
Get a quality lift kit.
Nice aftermarket fender flares.
If you convert to all LED's make sure to get the proper wiring to regulate the voltage. LED's are notorious for causing electrical issues if you do not, because they draw less power and the...
If it is a rotational noise then that narrows it down.
Can you hear it only at 50 mph?
Jack up the front and spin the tires by hand to see if you hear it?
Did you use good bearings?
Do the CV axles leak? Boots might be good but seals can go bad.
Front shaft should not spin in 2WD.
You need to start fresh with a new oil pan gasket and new front/timing cover gasket.
Make sure to use: J41476 Front and Rear Cover Alignment Tool
Important:
Do not reuse the crankshaft oil seal or front cover gasket.
Do not apply any type of sealant to the front cover gasket, unless...
Not normal! Someone else been messing around under your rig? I was going to do the oil pan gasket but I can't get it high enough without a lift to mess with it. Too tight under there and too much to remove.
You usually nail down that kind of ticking to manifold gasket leaks, lifters or spark plugs that are loose. Someone else on here might have another idea about your ticking.
For manifold gaskets: While it is running see if the ticking is same/different on each side. That could help determine if...
If you are wanting to flush your radiator fluid while changing your water pump, you could always get a siphon pump to make it infinitely easier that messing with that petcock.
These Tahoe bays are very tight and difficult to maneuver for anyone. A million ways to slice yourself also.
You pic didn't load. If you have the openable petcock then you are good to go. Get a 2ft piece of clear tubing from hardware store and you are on easy street.
