I’m refreshing my steering and getting some new inner and outer tie rods. Anyone have experience with Mevotech “tough terrain” outers and Proforged “heavy duty” inners? These are the two brands on RockAuto that advertise a slightly beefier component compared to stock, and was wondering if they’re reputable and worth it. Otherwise will just get OEM replacement Moog stuff.

Thanks!

Mevotech seems to make good parts. I would stick with OEM, unless you are doing a full suspension upgrade. Be careful with MOOG.

Mevotech suspension parts are made in Canada, whereas Moog’s parts are manufactured across the world.
