Ya. It’s just a plug for the keyless remote antenna . It’s hiding under the carpet under the third seat. You must have unplugged it when removing seat. That’s what happened to me. Seems easy to unplug. Doesn’t seem to be a clip to hold it together. Oh well. I figured it out and it’s fixed now.
First to make it easier. I put a 2x6 to hold the seat up. Then get a small screwdriver to undo the clip holding the connections together. It’s just a little clip you got to lift so the connections will come apart.
Problem solved. Put seat back in to see if that was the issue. While pugging it in I could hear something hitting floor. Looked under carpet and found a wire unplugged. Looks like it goes to an antenna for the keyless stuff. Looks like a little square box. Plugged it back in and all is good...

No message saying doors are open. Just message saying service keyless system.
Doors will lock/unlock if I press buttons on fob. But will not unlock when I touch the door handles.
Haven’t had a chance to plug seat back in yet. Should be able to tonight.
2017 Yukon
Removed rear seat. Now keyless entry does not work. Tried both remotes. If this was not caused by removing the seats. Then what else could it be. Message pops up that keyless needs service. Lock and unlock with button still works. So does keyless start.
Floor is flat from second row all the way to the back. Will need a mat. Because there will be a void in carpet and padding where the seat was bolted down.
15 minutes. Remove 7 15mm bolts. Unplug harness. Remove seat. Put bolts back in holes. Then either get a cargo mat or a piece of carpet. Will be missing carpet in a few areas.
Took out my third row seat(2017). Now my keyless entry won’t work. Anybody else have this issue? Is there a fix for it? If not I’ll try taking the electronics from the seat and plugging it back in. And see what that does and go from there.
New to this forum. Bought a 17 Yukon SLT for the wife at Christmas. Damn rear seat not folding flat was bothering me and the wife. I’ve been looking online for a fix. But, after losing 2 gallons of milk in the driveway today. I took the third seat out. Floor is finally like it should be. Took me...
