2004 GMC Yukon SLT - Rear Air
Mine was doing the same thing but only blowing cold air. I don't have a part number cause I never replaced it. I just turned it to heat manually for the winter. You just need to remove the rear plastics and you'll see what's pictured. The part you need to replace is #1 -

The GMOS-04 with the line out does have the pentiometer on the box that you can adjust to get rid of the whine and feed back like posted above. What metra kit do I need?!
I have an 03 denali with bose and all features mentioned. I run the metra GMOS-04 harness, this will keep all you features working as they did with the factory headunit minus the steering wheel controls. Newbie Denali owner, start of a new project!
Welcome! Nice truck and good start with the mods. I'd add debadging to the list, really cleans these trucks up and it's free :cool: I have the 2/4 Belltech drop on mine but wish I went 3/5 first time around :banghead: you'll love this site as its full of great info and people! -

finally got rid of the chrome

Cool wifey! Mine always just complains that I'm never happy with the way it looks or drives and thinks I don't need any of the mods I have or want :insane: 3M eraser wheel! It's a bit pricey but, WELL worth it IMO especially if you plan on more debadging or removing any molding.- mharders

I believe it's gonna depend on what stereo you have in there now ie:bose, factory nav, onstar, Ect. I think gmos-100 retains all factory functions including the steering wheel controls but, I've heard mixed reviews on the metra products and don't know much about pac units.
