ok, sorry for the late response Billy, but from what i can see, my center hub to fender measurement is 17 3/8" thats as close as i could dial it in, thats not exactly the easiest measurement to get

Made a 425 mile round trip yesterday so now im over 1300 miles on the swap. Front end is holding up just fine... still thinking about ditching the 24's and going back to 20's just to get some sidewall cushion back

Billy, you also have to take into consideration tire size. For instance, my 305/35/24 measures like 32.7 factory spec and my fender is 33 1/4". If I dropped to 295/35 or even a 285/40, my fender height would drop and suspension would stay the same

I seriously can't imagine how this happened. When I say they weren't very tight, I mean by my standards, and ive been known to twist bolt heads off with normal 1/2" drive ratchets, so its not like they were super loose... only thing I can think is when I swapped out bolt hardware to "get rid of...

I know it seems like it wont do much, but giving a little cushion so it isnt metal on metal will definitely help, and keeping the shock from hitting rock bottom will avoid damage to the (expensive) hardware Heres a pic of my setup, so others can see. If the stud top pans out, ill most likely...

Yes I have, and I will be using them once they are available again... hoping those springs with the stud top front mount will let me go a little lower and not destroy my ride

qa1 adjustables and I didnt actually put a torque wrench on them, but I used a real short ratchet and only got them half ass tight, used nyloc nuts and a ton of lithium grease

    sway bar hitting panhard

sorry guys, just saw your replies. i finally got my spare tire out of there, and nothing is making contact back there. i really just think the travel is so limited that it is bottoming out and its the frame hitting the axle on the big bumps, and its just a bumpy lowered truck is the reason it...

dynod my tahoe and took it to the track

2.92 is a really slow 60' time... were you brake torquing at the line? if you cant do a burnout even when ur trying, you should be able to stand on the stall and launch at a pretty good rpm to cut that down to low 2's. half a second in the 60' is easily a second or more in the 1/4

I already have the adjustable panhard bar, and though I havent measured to get it perfect, I have it eyeballed in as close as I can get it. And I did all the adjusting with it sitting at ride height, and I even did the new bolts to get rid of the slop This is really great news! I think it...

Tahoewhat, ive been thinking about it a little tonight and I think my rocking may be coming from the rear... ever since I dropped it I have had a side to side sway in the rear, almost like the truck was shaking its ass as I hit dips going down the road. I just assumed it was the shocks back...

Idk what happened, but I havent been getting these updates. Maybe it's bc I didnt check back in after the first email notification. Im super excited to try this tud top, but I think I need to order the special coil over stud top piece, the one I have is from my rear (non CO) shocks. I think...

yea idk whats gonna happen honestly. if this stud top pans out, im probably gonna get new (smaller) tires and just get as low as i possibly can on the 4's. i know it wont be the best ride, but it will look sick AF

Sorry guys, been crazy bust the last week. Got my camber kit friday, havent had time to install it yet though. Im over 500 miles now on this conversion and no problems at all from the new parts Still thinking about trying out some 20's to see if they make a huge difference. But I LOVE my 4's...

Ok, so the top isnt even a problem... the real issue is just the lower bushing getting crushed? So i would want the 2 pieces of hardened steel to be on either side of the lower bushing... then the top really wouldnt make much difference right?

My only issue with the stud top is that it looks to me like he smashed both the top and bottom bushing between TWO pieces of metal... would you want the poly bushings to only be separated by the metal of the shock mount? I guess if I had to describe it it looked like from top to bottom was...
