What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

$20 says it’s the ABS module. That’s what mine was, would come on randomly. At first a few times, then more consistently. Remove it and reflow the solder joints. Easy free fix. If you have a soldering iron and some RTV. Tons of YouTube videos on this

Already put in the wanted section, but does anybody have some Esky rear vent caps to sell me? I need another set, painter lost my spare set. Not paying $170 on ebay lol. Jnkyard sold them to me for $20 apiece last time, but they don't have any at the moment. Reasonable price, I need them soon...

2005 Chevrolet Tahoe LS “service air bag”

Absolutely. The code will tell you left or right as well, otherwise you’ll be guessing unless you replace both. Pretty normal for one to go out, the other o e follows shortly thereafter

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I wish other companies would follow havoline and come with a 6 qt jug / box. That extra 1 quart kills me

    General Maintenance ?

Ah yes, I’m with PNW VIETVet. If anything even looks like it could have some wear, I just replace it. Almost always cheaper than a tow bill, let alone the repairs. also oil pan gasket and pick up tube oring while I was there. A $2 piece that gives people a lot of problems (low oil pressure if...

    General Maintenance ?

I also forgot: replaced fuel pump (wasn’t broken yet, but needed to replace evap canister/purge valve/Vent valve because it was plugged with charcoal pellets and I couldn’t put gas in it, which also solved my wonky fuel gauge.

    General Maintenance ?

Check the suspension components- ball joints, tie rods, sway bar bushings, end links, pitman & idler etc, these are commonly smoked by 200k. Especially if you live where road salt is used, check the brake lines, they rust out. Make sure the water pump isn't leaking out the weep hole (you can...

Can you tell me if GM corrected these issues after 07? If so, what years already have the updated valve cover and pressure relief valve deflector

07 Tahoe LT what to watch out for

Thanks, that is what I’m afraid of. I’m sure it’d be at least twice the 2 grand you had to spend to take care of it now

07 Tahoe LT what to watch out for

A friend is looking at a 2007 Tahoe LT w/125k tomorrow. I read the sticky, but honestly, not much real information in that. I have a 2005, is there anything we should look for or watch out for on the ‘07? I guess it has AFM, is there any tests or anything for that? What are other common...

Are you doing the relearn procedure, or just installing new blend doors and carrying in without doing the procedure?

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Picked up some OEM enter caps for $10 off marketplace since mine are all scratched up somehow (wheels are perfect). Now to find a suction cup to pull the old ones off, since I just rotated the tires last week I don’t feel like removing them again lol.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

My Honda Accord did the same thing, two of the factory oem locks broke and they are only like 80 ft lbs. a socket pounded on took them both off no problem. Now i don’t bother with wheel locks, they aren’t stopping anybody
