Got this going on now.View attachment 351845
It's been popping up randomly all summer, now appears to be on steadily. Brakes still stop fine, nothing is leaking, brake fluid doesn't look too dirty. I'm talking about the brake maintenance, not the abs light. I'm not getting any codes with a standard scan tool, I haven't put the Tech 2 on it yet. Anyone have any ideas? Could it be the level indicator going bad?
$20 says it’s the ABS module. That’s what mine was, would come on randomly. At first a few times, then more consistently. Remove it and reflow the solder joints. Easy free fix. If you have a soldering iron and some RTV. Tons of YouTube videos on this

That seems to be the easy part, when I looked at where it is and being in the rust belt it doesn’t look that fun on the back in the drive way lol

Are the truck keyed or are it adjusted high? o_O Hope the new ones will work for you, must say that blue turd even smell all the way over here.
Earlier this year I put Heavy duty springs in the rear. I turned keys up 2 turns in the front just raise it a little bit. Then got it aligned.

Let us know!
Put the Tech 2 on, but couldn't really find much. I found a bunch of 4wd/transfer case stored codes in the history, and while looking the reduced engine power popped up 2-3 times. I couldn't reset it using the Tech 2 so I had to use my regular scanner for that. I looked all around, even in special functions and found nothing. I was able to cycle the abs.module on/off quite a few times--so maybe that rules out that module. So, nothing new to report.

Are it wired same to the transfer case as the front diff? That actuator in the front have the ground in the harness and can give problem, no I wonder if you not anyway have a ground problem?

Okay, just 2 turns can't be the reason for the failure. Good to know what brand to pass when I need swapping mine out later.
Yeah. Everyone seems to recommend Energy Suspension bushings and I should have bought those 1st, but found ACDelco OEM available and bought them. Energy Suspension bushing came in a kit with the end links also. Didn’t have time today, but will replace those soon as well.

Not really sure about the harness.
