    There was an issue in the TSB’s regarding battery drain, I think was due to third seat control module not sleeping due to a connector not fully seated..might be worth a call to the dealer. Battery has a warranty, you may get a free one. There are such things as defective batteries too…

    I’d still take it in. You have a powertrain warranty until 60k miles and 5 years. If it is rear driveline, will be covered. There was also a TSB regarding noise due to rust on the rotor face where the wheel attaches to the hub. Something is up, and if it is consistent, then worth taking it in.

    With all due respect, I think the answer is likely no...and honestly, in 2024, can't imagine having a portable CD player and a bunch of CD's in the vehicle when there are a lot of options that will accomplish the same thing, easier and more efficiently.     Minneapolis area has the larger dealers with plenty of stock, and advertising 3-5k off...unless its an Ultimate. Similar for the larger Chevy dealers w/ Tahoes and Suburbans. I suspect more deals to be had if there is stock later in the year...as people may be waiting for the 2025 refresh...

    May not be one of the systems that is monitored...I think it only monitors the ECM, TCM, Onstar System, Fuel Level, and Tire pressure...BCM may not be on the list. Likely you could have pushed the blue onstar button and asked for a remote diags and gotten info about your Instrument Panel being out.

    FYI, if you apply any throttle during the start, it will crank but no start...I had this happen to me at a car wash once, where they put the mat back in on top of the accelerator...went through the whole process of disconnecting the battery in the interior bay, etc...only to finally figure out...
