    SOLVED: Fuel pump install issues

Even though you did not say what engine you have, the two options of 5.3 and 6.2 take the same pump. The only difference is the choice of what you got or E85. Also says the one you got comes without level sensor. Hope you transferred that sensor over. For that kind of money, you would think GM...

There are just some days I wish I didn't turn wrenches

I checked the oil and did not read on the stick. I topped it off. Took 2.5 quarts. I removed battery and they got a new one. Replaced the bad cable end and attached the two wires. Acted like wanted to start but would not. Pulled plugs. Soaking wet. Plugs out and sitting overnight to evaporate...

    O2 sensor issues.

Welcome to the forum from Oregon. Did you recheck all your wiring connections and grounds? For both to be effected, there should be a common connection, like a ground.

    Check Engine light

Interested in you posting what is found. You did not say whether there is any difference in the way it runs. Also, has the CEL been on each time you started it since yesterday?

@NickTransmissions, is there an absolute for what transmission will have the shallow pan and what will have the deep pan?

    Transmission Fluid/Filter

What @SilverSport said about the filter. Every refill of fluid should be with OE fluid and it will always be top off as needed, especially transmission fluid. When you do a transmission service, you are not draining all the transmission fluid. @NickTransmissions can likely tell you what your...

Why are you trying to run Seafoam thru a vacuum line to engine? If you did not know you have hydro boost, you better be clear why and what you are doing.

    Air condition randomly starts working

Welcome to the forum from Oregon. Best if you could get it to happen when sitting in driveway. Then you can see if the a/c clutch is engaged or disengaged. If is not engaged, then possible low pressure cycling switch, at the accumulator, is going bad. Possible low refrigerant charge and need...

There are just some days I wish I didn't turn wrenches

The thing is, the fuel pump is actually under the passenger side of the rear bench seat and the sending unit is on the driver's side under the bench seat. The electricals and lines run from the sending unit over to the pump and to replace the sending unit, on the left side, you have to pull the...

There are just some days I wish I didn't turn wrenches

Found the fuel leak. One of the plastic stems, on top of fuel pump, under the rear seat, is cracked and spewing. The two lines that feed down under the tank to the fuel filter, are also seeping at the crimp fittings. Fuel filter looks original. You can see the bubbles it is making, in the second...

There are just some days I wish I didn't turn wrenches

Today's adventure is a 2004 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor, with a fuel leak. I have narrowed it down to the driver's side rear, just inside the front of the rear tire. There is a shield/cover that I need to remove but I have a sneaking feeling that the source is a fuel filter hose, based off of...

    Driver side power window switch/module

15883319? Never did understand why adjustable pedals made a difference because the separate panel that houses those switches is above the master switch in a whole other location.
