Good morning to everyone. So on Saturday I picked up this brand new 2024 Cadillac Escalade Esv. Yesterday Sunday afternoon I'm going back to the dealer to have them detail the truck. I stopped at Dunkin Donuts to get a coffee, got back in the truck and started it up only to see the check engine light on. The truck only had 43 miles on the clock when that happened yesterday. This is just amazing to say the least. Taking it back to the dealer today. Can't wait for an explanation.

Interested in you posting what is found.

You did not say whether there is any difference in the way it runs. Also, has the CEL been on each time you started it since yesterday?

Oh yes I definitely would be posting the results. They just gave me a loaner because they haven't found the problem yet and they don't want me sitting around waiting.
Actually it's running rough and it's not shifting smoothly. OnStar says it's an issue with the drivetrain, but we'll see. Yes the CEL has been on steady since yesterday.

So it turns out that the AC control module was bad. That's what triggered the check engine light. I couldn't control the cooling and heating from the dashboard. They kept the truck for two days, and all seems to be well now. Let's see what happens next lol.
