    I believe that would work but, I have no idea.. lol. I have research to do… if I could just do a longer stroke (assuming the bores are good), that would be ideal. Just need to keep a close eye on tolerances.

(I mean, it does have 235k on it..) so I’m hoping to get a few more cubes out of this block, and build it up a bit, since I’m currently consuming more oil...

    Nice! That’s the fuel I was using before finding the Alta, which seemed to have a better ethanol content than the K-U-M & go. Glad it’s working out for you. Hope they keep the E85 around.

    GM: 16821883 Dorman: 924-088 I wasn’t able to locate an OEM part. I did keep the original, for future. Not much to it. Probably could disassemble, and clean all the contacts to get it functioning again. It looked pretty good.

    Yessir. I suspect I could have fixed the original, and have saved it for future use, but thought I’d give a new Dorman a shot for 12 bucks.

    Fixed it.. apparently, the switch was bad. Looked very clean, but used some Electronic cleaner just because.. and a dab of dielectric grease.

    Thank you Sir! Still having trouble finding one available anywhere though.. guess I’ll get the Dorman from the jungle website.. supposed to be here tomorrow. I’ll keep an eye out for an OEM version, just in case..

    I actually swapped my airbag a few years ago.. it’s worked great until very recently.

    Haven’t tried that. But when I lock / arm, from the fob, I get the short honk, as expected.
