    2WD to AWD Conversion 07

This could work ^^^^^^^ if you get all the pieces needed. I'd probably just look for a clean 4wd version though instead of the headache

    07 denali oil pan gasket,pickup o-ring

I used a felpro gasket and o-ring on mine. No adverse issues. Never did more than clean out the pan and reassemble. If you are dealing with low oil pressure, do the valley gaskets as well

    Gas pedal

That one is drive by wire. There isn't really a way to increase the feed back - the pedal spring is all internal. Maybe a newer replacement may have better built in feel

    Stolen SUVs and Trucks

Wow! Hard to not get political on this point, but all I will say is those who took an oath to serve and protect failed miserably. Nothing like having ALL the evidence /road map with X marks the spot. Pathetic...... Hopefully insurance made him whole. And, not maybe I'll be buying some air...

    adding a block heater?

I don't see how the temp difference between the block and intake air would be relevant, or set a code. My work truck had 198F coolant this week with-13F intake air. Shouldn't matter.

Discolored or faded cargo side panels

It almost appears as though the coloring in the plastic didn't set right in the forming process. I say this because you can see swirls, streaks, etc thar shown up around and through the piece. I'm sure exposure to air and sunlight made it fade. Or, whatever color fasting they do and/or UV...

    Body roll

I would start with the aftermarket suspension. I have the same truck and it handles great on all driving and cornering.

    adding a block heater?

If the OEM one screws in, then use that one. I thought it was a freeze plug style - which can be prone to leaks Edit: I didn't look at the previous link. I now see. Use that one

    adding a block heater?

If you choose to do a coolant type, you'll have to drain all thr coolant to get the freeze plug style in the block. I'm not a fan of these for many reasons. Your other option is to find a threaded block plug, install a hose barb, and use a stand alone heater that works off convection. The...

    2005 5.3 Ticking Journey

I remember my uncle telling me a few years back (GM TECH FOR 30 YEARS) that there was a rash of 5.3L motors in the 05-06 years that had cam problems. I believe the metallurgy was off (too soft) and it would wear prematurely.

    New guy 05 suburban z71

Welcome from WI. How long has the ticking been around? Is it more pronounced on one side or the other? Have you crawled under and listened by the bell housing? Maybe you have a lifter that's sticky from years of sitting and needs the old Tennessee tune-up (MMO or ATF in the oil and drive...

    Noise

I would start where @Doubeleive stated. I have the same truck and you can drop both belts off with a 15mm socket and ratchet. Tensioner for main and A/C belts. With belts off, start it and listen. If it's cool/ cold out, you could even go for a quick drive and see what it sounds like if you...

    black interior (upper)

Shouldn't be. I believe most interior trim pieces are very similar. The body stampings for the passenger compartment are identical as well I believe.

Stinky at Cold and Warm Start

What kind of driving do you do? Short trips, slow in town, or highway? Short trips can make them stinky because the cats don't get super hot and have time to burn clean. The newer motors run richer than previous generations for emissions reasons to keep the cats hot. My 2017 with the 6.2L...

How cold is it where you are today?

Interesting. So, thar being said, does your engine have DFM? Or, being out of the USA, does your truck not have it because of different emission requirements? These are things I find interesting. For example: if my 2023 F450 diesel was going to the middle east, there would be no EGR or ANY...

Have you ever ridden in the back seat of your own vehicle?

On road trips sometimes I go back there to take a nap. but I can't say that that's a very common occurrence.........I usually can't sleep with my wife driving.
