Looks good to me!
And it's funny how one bad experience or employee can make you entirely write off the company as a whole. I'm the same way. Had a similar experience ordering "larger than oem" tires through Costco.
Stupid policies like that make no sense. But ultimately that's their job/policy...
I installed the factory tow hooks on my 2019 Tahoe. Super quick and easy.
Mounts directly to the frame.
I bought the plastic thing that goes around that area with the cutout holes for the hooks, so that it’s all factory.
Bumping this old thread. Thinking about getting this kit and doing this upgrade. Might be worth the time and $530 if its a noticeable upgrade that adds to my lackluster Bose system.
No real reason. Purely simplicity and quickness. I could try the other method as well sometime but I've just gotten in a routine that I can do almost with my eyes shut at this point.
It's not too bad actually, after a few pumps the suction starts pulling the fluid by itself really easily. I just sit in a folding chair and chat with my dad or scroll instagram while I do it haha

This super fancy $7 pump with some clear tubing and plumbing tape haha
It doesn't look nice but it works!
Exactly. I have the $15 hand pump from harbor freight. A clear hose that goes into the transmission dip stick tube and a clear tube on the "out" side of the hand pump that goes into an empty milk jug.
I pump until what the hose reaches runs out, which is pretty much an empty pan (I know this...
I change my transmission fluid roughly every 10k-15k miles.
I do the full pan drop and gasket and filter change every 45k miles.
Could I be wasting money with these intervals? Sure. But I'd rather keep the fluid as clean as possible to help this transmission from shtting the bed for what little...
6 and 8 are an absolute pain in the ass to get to though.
When I changed mine at ~90k I took the liners out and wheels off. Definitely noticed a smoother idle as well.
There is no external fuel filter on the K2XX. Its built into the fuel system inside the tank.
Really no need to try and drop the tank and try to replace anything like that.
I've trailered my Camaro (3900lbs) on a heavy uhaul trailer (~2100lbs) many times for many thousands of miles. You definitely know it's there around town and on grades (up and down), but cruising on the highway its fine.
The 5.3 does just fine for me the times I have to trailer it, like once a...
That’s actually not a bad idea either now that you’ve pointed that out. And I agree that it definitely won’t hang as low and will be lighter..
Appreciate the input.
Good to know that fits!
Is it an 18" spare wheel you found, or a matching factory wheel or matching your aftermarket wheel?
Was looking for the crappy black stamped steel one. Like this factory 17".
If I have to stick with a 17" tire, I'll have to buy one. But the closest match in a 17" to my 18" is a 285/70/17 which is 1.5% smaller in diameter than the 275/70/18.
So that means when driving it will be off by 8 revolutions per mile.
Not sure if that's enough difference to make a...
Hey guys hoping to get some insight here.
I know the factory spare is a 17" wheel with a tire that matches the factory size 18" tire (265/65/18).
Being that I have larger than factory tires (275/70/18) I'm curious if I can put a full size spare under the car.
I'm due for a new set of K02's...
Do you have an aftermarket driveshaft?
I’ve read that our factory driveshaft will rattle themselves to shreds fairly easily above 100mph for any sustained amounts of time.
The camera is complete dog. Sadly nothing I've seen that can be done to fix that.
The range on the fob blows regardless of if those other electronics are truly interfering or not. I hold the fob to my chest when I click it and use my body as a range extender. I'm sure this will give me cancer or...
That sounds good! I have a magnaflow muffler sitting in its original box in my garage waiting to be installed still. Might need to get around to that after hearing that takeoff video clip.
